The aftereffects of the Marshall Plan had been that the markets had been driven more by the desires of the customers to buy non-necessary goods (Kjaer, 2019). This implied that the focus of the customers had been more on obtaining opportunities to see different types of comforts and luxuries/extravaganzas like specialty products (Kjaer, 2019). The fashion designers had also understood the mindsets of the customers and had focused on designing clothes which would display a casual mindset of the customers towards clothing.
